SHOULD MOURINHO SPEND MORE                 IN THE SUMMER           


Mourinho arrived at united in 2016,after a season that saw man united finish fifth in the premier league,with fans complaining about Louis van gaals slow and boring football. During van goal,s reign,man United experienced  a slow and boring pattern of football,  not being able to do away with the smaller teams,and also getting lost in the bigger games,which resulted to his sack after two unsuccessful season at united.
Mourinho was seen as the man to bring back the glory days after he was signed as the new manager at Man United. This restored the hope of the united fans as they believe in mourinho as the special one. Mourinho won the efl cup and Europa league in his first season at united as he saw the Europa league as he saw the Europa league as the best alternative in qualifying for the champions  league.
The 2017/2018 began on a high drive with united seeing off matches and restoring the fear factor at Old Trafford.
However, united experienced a dip in form that has resulted to man city running away with the tittle. Man united has been eliminated from the champions league prematurely leading to the fans and pundits criticising mourinho,s pattern.
It has been reported that mourinho is demanding Manchester United and the executive chairman to spend more money in the summer,even as he has not been able to gel his current signings into a cohesive unit. He has been spent around £300 million in less than two years at Old Trafford. He paid £89 million for pogba, and £79 million a year later for lukaku. And he has paid more than  £30 million for the rest.

The assumption was that man city are spending too much,yes they may have been paying too much for players, but guardiola has made the signings worth it .The difference between guardiola,s team and mourinho,s team is that guardiola trains his team to be good while mourinho expects his team to be good.
